Leather Ruby Great Dragon Before and After 2 Years by Epic-Leather Leather Ruby Great Dragon Before and After 2 Years by Epic-Leather
This is my Submission to the "Draw this Again Challenge" featuring my Ruby Great Dragon Leather Mask.

The first picture was taken nearly 2 years ago when I was first beginning my craft, the 2nd is the same pattern only after two years of leveling up.

Your shading has become more refined and the edges are cleaner. Also, your scupting has also improved. It looks like you may have started using an airbrush but maybe you are just that good with a brush to create such smooth gradients.

Thank you very much ^^ Oh man an air brush probably would make it a lot easier lol, actually I use a wool dauber/foam brushes to shade and blend everything, I guess after nearly 300 creations you start to get a bit proficient with basic tools (I still use only an xacto knife to cut and tool everything, 16 oz leather is a bitch to cut through though lol) =P

Goes to show that its not the tools but the man behind them. 16 oz leather = bandsaw.lol

And why are you asking questions that are answered in the contest rules?

What is featured is original hand crafted LEATHERWORK and since LEATHER can not be transmitted electronically this is the only way I can show it.

Anything else grand inquisitor?

Both look great. It'd help if they were in the same lighting and pose to see the real change in depth.^^

Thank you. ^_^ Unfortunately yet fortunately I no longer reside where the original was taken so I cant get the same lighting, would be nice though, and I did have one similar however this was the one that really showcases the more defined features that Ive implemented within my work.

I agree. It is hard to tell the difference between the two.
